Matt McGinley is a government affairs consultant in the Washington, DC area. Matt has been leading operations at one of the top bipartisan lobbying firm's Advanced Policy Consulting, LLC (APC) since 2015. He has worked with various clients while serving in this position, from small businesses to Fortune 500 corporations. He has also provided legislative and regulatory support to several of Washington’s top trade associations. Under the guidance of Matt McGinley, the Washington, DC area leading bipartisan lobbying firm has garnered numerous accolades, including a series of Bloomberg Government awards between 2019 and 2023. Bloomberg has recognized Advanced Policy Consulting as a Top-Performing Lobbying Firm and a Standout Lobbying Firm.

Mr. McGinley studied history at the University of California, Los Angeles. He received his law degree from the George Washington Law School. He has over two decades of legislative and regulatory experience. Before joining APC, he gained experience in leadership positions on Capital Hill and with the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA). A few of his past positions include deputy general counsel for the National Republican Congressional Committee and deputy chief of staff and legislative director in the House of Representatives.
